The Half Brioche Stitch (also known as Half English Ribbing) is a variation of the Brioche Stitch and the Stockinette Brioche Stitch and is another easy and fast stitch, especially suitable for scarves and throws. The difference is in the way the wrong side rows are worked, which creates a two-side fabric.

Similar to the Brioche Stitch the fabric will consume a bit more yarn than usual and it will also stretch after being washed for the first time. Have this in mind when knitting your gauge.

Difficulty level: Easy

Instructions

You need a stitch number multiple of 2 + 1 + 2 edge stitches. Repeat the pattern between the arrows as many times as you like.
