This type of 4 in 1 knit diamonds can often be seen in different colors on multicolored sweaters. In this particular stitch pattern they form a nice decorative border stitch that can be used in the beginning or at the end of your project or as a standalone knitting stitch. The reverse garter stitch buttons add additional elegance and level of detail to the pattern.

Instructions

You need a stitch number multiple of 12 + 12 + 2 edge stitches. Repeat the pattern between the arrows as many times as you like.
